Finding Vivian Maier

From the 1950s onwards, while working full time as a nanny, Vivian Maier took over 150,000 photos of urban American life - her talent for street photography unknown to friends and family during her lifetime. Following her death, hoards of photos and unprocessed film were found in a storage container. Collector John Maloof bought the lot. Here he sets off to find out more about this enigmatic figure, instating her reputation as a forgotten great of 20th century photography.
