Opens: 28/06/2014 Closes: 25/01/2015 Various venues, Edinburgh
Scotland puts on a good show of pride for its artistic output from the last quarter century, and rightfully so. A yearlong project entitled Generation entails exhibitions across the country featuring work by 100 Scots artists. Edinburgh's three National Galleries house the biggest segment during festival season, exhibiting old, new and significant work by 30 artists including Turner Prize winners and nominees Simon Starling, Douglas Gordon, Charles Avery and David Shrigley, plus the likes of Karla Black, Martin Boyce and Rosalind Nashashibi.
