Fresh street art to Denver

The RiNo art district is undergoing a transformation this weekend as the colorful murals which decorated the Denver neighborhood will be repainted with new work during the Colorado Crush 2015 Street Art Festival.
The event welcomes artists from as far away as England and Finland this year.
Munro started the festival in 2009 as a way to beautify RiNo.
"As this neighborhood is going through a rather large change - lots of new buildings, lots of new developments - we wanna keep the RiNo arts element strong," Munro said. "We want the street art and graffiti to continue on - whether it be on existing buildings or new buildings going in. It makes it a more happening place to be."
It's also a way to unite the art community.

The event takes place on the Wolf Walls and along the alleyways from 25th to 32nd streets between Larimer and Walnut.

The block party will host over 70 local and national artists, street artists and graffiti artists. The party is focused on embracing and building community and the culture embedded within it. GreenSheen will supply eco-friendly paint for artists to use.
